Registration

6.1 Each registration is for a single user only. The Company does not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network.

6.2 Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you.

Tickets and Badge offers for 2018

A number of Half Price and £10 off tickets are available on selected enclosures and dates between 9 May and 29 September. 

There are a limited number of discounted tickets available. all discounted tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis or before the discount offer expires. 

Ticket discount deadlines and eligibility as follows:

Wednesday 9 May - Half Price tickets available on County Concourse and Tattersalls Enclosure tickets on or before Wednesday 4 April 2018.

Friday 29 June - £10 off Tickets available on Winning Post Enclsoure, County Long Room, County Concourse and Tattersalls Enclosure tickets on or before Wednesday 6 June 2018.

Friday 13 July - £10 off Tickets available on Winning Post Enclsoure, County Long Room, County Concourse and Tattersalls Enclosure tickets on or before Wednesday 27 June 2018.

Sunday 5 August - Half Price tickets available on Winning Post Enclsoure, County Long Room, County Concourse and Tattersalls Enclosure tickets on or before Wednesday18 July 2018.

Friday 14 September - £10 off Tickets available on Winning Post Enclsoure, County Long Room, County Concourse and Tattersalls Enclosure tickets on or before Wednesday 29 August 2018.

Residents of Chester can take advantage of a special half price offer on County Concourse Badges and Tattersalls tickets by purchasing in person at the Box Office. Available to those residing in a CH1, CH2, CH3 or CH4 postcode. Residents must show proof of current address (a utility bill or bank statement is suggested) and ID in person. Offer limited to four tickets or badges per person and available until Friday 27 April or allocation of tickets/badges has been fully aportioned.

Full price Chester Members Badge of £529 applies from Thursday 18 January 2018.

A group discount on Dee Enclosure and Open Course tickets is available on all fixtures. Buy ten tickets get one ticket free - available on pre-purhcased tickets only. Offer also valid on Tattersalls tickets for Saturday 15 and Saturday 29 September.

PART A THE YOUNG

Pro-active preventative measures will be taken to dissuade under 18’s from attempting to place a bet.

Measures will be taken to prevent under 18’s being able to bet at the point of sale.

Bets made by an under 18 will be void, win or lose.

Adults accompanied by an under 18 will be treated as if they are under 18.

Under 18 activity will be recorded.

The effectiveness of the policies with regard to under 18’s will be monitored.

Racecourse betting marketing will be sensitive to under 18 considerations.

Under 18’s will not be employed directly in the provision of betting or indirectly exposed to the provision of betting as a result of their employment.

PART B – THE VULNERABLE

Commitments will be kept to contribute to research into the prevention and treatment of gambling, public education on the risks of gambling and how to gamble safely as well as the identification and treatment of problem gamblers.

Information responsible gambling and problem gambling (access to help) will be made readily available to customers at the racecourse.

Staff will be trained to recognize the signs of problem gambling and to intervene appropriately.

Customers will be offered exclusion from gambling at the racecourse level.

POLICY SECTION 2

KEEPING CRIME OUT OF GAMBLING

Effect full compliance with the requirements in respect of the prevention and detection of money laundering in the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and the Terrorism Act 2000.

The physical and financial operations will be designed to minimize the risk of attracting criminal behaviours.

Money lending on the racecourse is prohibited.

Any suspicion of cheating will be reported.

POLICY SECTION 3

FAIR AND OPEN GAMBLING

Betting rules will comply with legislation on unfair terms in consumer contracts.

The key elements of the betting contract will be clearly specified in the betting rules.

Rules will be clearly and adequately displayed.

Clear betting slips will be issued.

Rules will not be changed retrospectively.

A clear and fair dispute resolution procedure will be implemented.

Staff will be trained to be familiar with rules relative to betting.

Incentive/reward schemes will be proportionate to the type and level of customers gambling.

All advertising of betting products and services will be undertaken in a socially responsible manner.

Chester Race Company will ensure that the purpose for which its licence was granted is the primary gambling activity carried out from any premises that it operates from.

Chester Race Company will inform customers as to the status of customer funds upon Chester Race Company’s insolvency.

STAFF COMPLIANCE

Only trained employees and other licensed individuals will take bets.

PML’s will be obtained for management function leaders.

All staff will be trained in compliance to an appropriate level.
