  • Winning Post Enclosure - £80

    Chester’s most premium ticketed enclosure is situated adjacent to the Winning Post itself and within the heart of the buzzing paddock. The Winning Post is the perfect spot to socialise and soak in all of the atmosphere a day's racing at Chester has to offer. This adult only enclosure is partially covered with informal seating and offers a degree of shelter from the elements. 

     

     

  • County Long Room - £60

    Low Stock

    The County Long Room is within the County Stand, located on the first floor. This prestigious ticket provides the best views over the Roodee as well as access to covered seating. As a holder of a Long Room ticket, the badge also provides full access to the County Concourse and the Paddock.

    Enjoy full access to our ChesterBET and ChesterSPORT as well as the betting ring. Gents are requested to wear suits with collar and tie. For ladies, smart dress is suggested.

  • County Concourse - £45

    Overlooking The Final Furlong and The Winning Post, the County Concourse is a premium enclosure at the heart of the racecourse.

    This badge permits racegoers access to the Paddock where you will find our Dining Village, The Parade Ring, County Champagne Bar and Winner's Enclosure. This badge does not provide access to the seated area in the County Stand. Limited standing is available in the first few rows of the County Stand (availability dependent).

    Enjoy full access to chesterBET and chesterSPORT facilities.

  • Tattersalls - £37

    The Tattersalls Enclosure is the largest on the racecourse. Perfect for large groups, the ticket provides excellent views via the tiered covered terrace. Ticket holders have access to bars, catering concessions, chesterBet as well as entry to the Paddock.  

    The dress code is smart casual but please note that shorts or sports wear (including trainers) are prohibited in this enclosure.

  • Dee Stand - £15

    The Dee Stand has a tiered, uncovered terrace and ground floor standing area. A  ticket for the Dee Stand provides access to catering, bars and betting. There is no strict dress code in this area and with a 'Buy 10 get 1 free' offer applicable in this stand every single raceday* at Chester, its a perfect day out for groups!

  • Open Course - £12

    Clutching BBQs and picnic hampers and with happy smiles on their faces, thousands will make their way onto the open course for a fabulous day of fun. For racegoers and familes it is a fantastic value day out! However, it’s the children who are in for a real treat as this year there will be even more free entertainment for little ones to enjoy.

  • The Final Furlong - £180 (+VAT)

    The Final Furlong Restaurant is located within the Festival Village adjacent to the Chalets. After dining inside the restaurant you are able to stroll to the rails of the race track to watch the thrilling action in the final minutes of each race.  

  • Restaurant 1539 - from £135 (+VAT)

    1539 offers contemporary British cooking with a focus on locally sourced produce.   • The Turf - £130 (+VAT)

    Our intimate dining experience is perfect for couples and small groups and includes a County Stand admission badge, three-course menu, cream tea, cash bar, race card, betting facilities, television viewing and access to County Stand Grandstand seating.

Roman Day

Take your place and enjoy an unforgettable afternoon, with non-stop racing action along with family friendly Roman themed activities. Spot the Roman foot soldiers walking about the course - they'll be happy to pose for a photo or two.

Witness fantastic chariot and jousting displays between races in the gladiatorial arena out on the Open Course, whilst there are lots of free activities for children to get involved in, including face painting, archery and more.

We will be unable to post tickets purchased after Tuesday 23 May 2017. Tickets will be kept for collection at the Box Office.

Accommodation

Offering an unrivalled location and value for money, complementary WiFi and parking as standard; our onsite accommodation is provided by Holiday Inn Express Chester Racecourse. Please call 01244 327900 to enquire about booking.

Cash Machine

During racedays, we have a number of ATM's available. These are located by the County Stand, the Leverhulme Stand, The Parade Ring and Tattersalls. There is a charge to use the machines, and a minimum withdrawl of £20 is required. An ATM is available all year round in the Holiday Inn Express, Chester Racecourse.

Children

Children aged 17 and under are admitted free into all areas when accompanied by an adult. No tickets are necessary, however, children entering the County Enclosure or County Long Room require a junior badge which can be picked up from the box office on the day of racing.

There are a number of food and beverage outlets throughout the racecourse, serving a variety of food from across the world. 

Gate Opening Times

Gates open at 11.30am.

Parking

Parking is available onsite for £8 during racedays. This can be purchased in advance by calling the box office on 01244 304610.

Picnic Policy

We provide a Car Park Picnic Area, which is separate from the Open Course with rules regarding food and drink. This area is available to racegoers who have purchased Open Course tickets and Open Course Car Parking.  Within this area, you are welcome to bring a moderate amount of alcohol for your picnic on a raceday. Raceday Tours

Raceday tours can be purchased in conjunction with an advance County/Long Room badge or Tattersall ticket. Please contact the box office for more information on 01244 304610.

Road Closures

On racedays, road closures around the racecourse are normal to allow pedestrians safe entry to and exit from the racecourse. From the A5268, Watergate Street closes to vehicle approximately 1 and a half hours before racing. Following racing, Waterergate Street will remain closed for vehicles for up to 1 hour or until routes are clear of pedestrians. To access the racecourse by vehicles for parking, racegoers should use the A548, Sealand Road.
