  • Winning Post Enclosure - £80

    Chester’s most premium ticketed enclosure is situated adjacent to the Winning Post itself and within the heart of Chester's buzzing paddock. This adult only enclosure is partially covered, offering shelter from the elements and has informal seating for guests, providing a guaranteed seat and the perfect spot from which to socialise and enjoy an afternoon of racing.

  • County Long Room - £60

    Low Stock

    This coveted badge affords admittance to the County Long Room bar, covered seating within the County Stand and exclusive access the County Champagne Bar across the track in the Paddock area of the course. Capacity in this enclosure is limited and early purchase highly recommended.

    Offering fantastic views of the final furlong and finishing post, a County Long Room badge is a popular choice for racegoers looking for the perfect combination of spectacular views of the track and full use of Chester’s facilities.

  • County Concourse - £45

    Overlooking the final furlong and the finishing post, the County Concourse is a premium enclosure at the heart of the Racecourse. This badge permits racegoers access to the Paddock and all accompanying facilities including the County Champagne Bar and Parade Ring viewing.

    This badge does not provide access to the seated area in the County Stand, although limited standing is available in the first few rows (excluding Boodles May Festival. Dress Code: Gentlemen are required to wear suits with collar and tie. For Ladies, smart dress is suggested.

  • Tattersalls - £37

    A Tattersalls ticket is the ideal choice for racegoers looking to access both sides of the track and affords excellent viewing of the final stages of every race. Enjoy the facilities of the Paddock, including the Paddock Lawn and food concessions in Parade Ring Corner. Take full advantage of the Chester Bet facilities on offer and enjoy a great day in relaxed surroundings.

    The dress code is smart casual but please note that shorts or sports wear (including trainers) are prohibited in this enclosure.

  • Dee Stand - £15

    The Dee Stand has a tiered, uncovered terrace and ground floor standing area. A ticket for the Dee Stand provides access to food concessions, bars and betting facilities within Dee Stand and the Open Course enclosure.

    A Dee Stand ticket does not permit access to the Paddock area of the course, but ticket holders are permitted to access the Open Course enclosure in the centre of the race track, where free childrens activities and live entertainment can be enjoyed (weather permitting).

  • Open Course - £12

    Clutching BBQs and picnic hampers and with happy smiles on their faces, thousands will make their way onto the open course for a fabulous day of fun. For racegoers and familes it is a fantastic value day out! However, it’s the children who are in for a real treat as this year there will be even more free entertainment for little ones to enjoy.

  • The Final Furlong - £180 (+VAT)

    The Final Furlong Restaurant is located within the Festival Village adjacent to the Chalets. After dining inside the restaurant you are able to stroll to the rails of the race track to watch the thrilling action in the final minutes of each race.  

  • 1539 Restaurant & Bar - from £135 (+VAT)

    1539 Restaurant & Bar offers contemporary British cooking with a focus on locally sourced produce.   • The Turf - £130 (+VAT)

    The Turf Offers an intimate dining experience is perfect for couples and small groups.

    Unfortunately, The Turf Restaurant cannot accommodate group sizes larger than 10. To discuss this with our Hospitality Team, and review alternative options please call 01244 304631. 


  • The White Horse - from £67.50 (+VAT)

    The White Horse has prime position on the course, overlooking the pre-parade ring, with a front row seat of the horses in the saddling boxes as they prepare for their big race. Just a short walk from the winner’s enclosure our pub is positioned in the centre of the racing excitement. Unlike any other dining experience on race days at Chester Racecourse, they offer a relaxed experience, serving generous helpings of carefully selected pub favourites.

Witness fantastic chariot and jousting displays between races in the gladiatorial arena out on the Open Course, whilst there are lots of free activities for children to get involved in, including face painting, archery and more. Cash Machine

During racedays, we have a number of ATM's available on-course. These are located by the County Stand, the Leverhulme Stand, the Parade Ring and in the Tattersalls enclosure. There is a charge to use the machines and a minimum withdrawal of £20 is required. An ATM is available all year round inside the Holiday Inn Express on-site at Chester Racecourse.


Children aged 17 and under are admitted free into all areas when accompanied by a full-paying responsible adult. No tickets are necessary, however, children entering the County Enclosure or County Long Room require a junior badge which can be picked up from the Box Office on the day of racing. Gate Opening Times

Gates open at 11.30am.


Parking is available on-site for £8 per car on racedays. Parking can be purchased in advance by calling the Box Office on 01244 304 610 or on the day at the pay booth. On arrival at the Racecourse, you will be directed to the pay lanes and then to park your car.

Picnic Policy

We provide a Car Park Picnic Area, which is separate from the Open Course with rules regarding food and drink. This area is available to racegoers who have purchased Open Course tickets and Open Course Car Parking.  Within this area, you are welcome to bring a moderate amount of alcohol for your picnic on a raceday. Raceday tours can be purchased in conjunction with an advance County/Long Room badge or Tattersalls ticket. Please contact the Box Office for more information on 01244 304 600.

Road Closures

On racedays, road closures around the Racecourse are normal to allow pedestrians safe entry to and exit from the racecourse. From the A5268, Watergate Street closes to vehicle approximately 1 and a half hours before racing. Following racing, Waterergate Street will remain closed for vehicles for up to 1 hour or until routes are clear of pedestrians. To access the Racecourse by vehicle for parking, racegoers should use the A548, Sealand Road.
