  • Crowds Enjoy Autumn Festival at Chester Races

    Last weekend saw over 24,000 people visit Chester Racecourse for Autumn Festival. 8264 racegoers headed to the Roodee on Friday including 50 pupils from Wood Memorial CP School accompanied by Grand National jockey Carrie Ford. The children were taking part in a Racing to School initiative – learning about the inner workings of a racecourse on raceday and what goes on behind the scenes.
