The winners of the 12th Marketing Cheshire Annual Tourism Awards were announced on 24th November 2016 at a glamourous awards ceremony here at Chester Racecourse hosted by former Political Editor of Granada TV and BBC North West, Jim Hancock.
The Awards, attended by nearly 300 tourism representatives, celebrate excellence and outstanding achievement by local businesses and individuals representing the great variety of businesses that contribution to Cheshire’s visitor economy, which was worth £2.6 billion and welcomed over 47 million visitors in 2015.The White Horse were named Tourism Pub of the Year and will be representing Cheshire in the National VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2017.

The pub on the course were also recently awarded Best Casual Dining Experience at a Racecourse at the Racecourse Catering Awards in Doncaster.
Both accolades are testiment to the teams hard work over the past year and are a pat on the back ahead of the festive season.
