The going’s good for Summer Saturday at Chester Racecourse this weekend.

Saturday 11 June plays host to Halewood International Day on the Roodee. Gates open at 11.30am ahead of the first race at 2.15pm.

Racegoers are in for a day of competitive sport! With six races to thrill the crowds, pre-amble to the Euros kick-off and a screening of Wales v Slovakia on the big screen in the White Horse on course pub, at 5pm (pre-booking advisable via thewhitehorse.co.uk).

The sunshine is set to continue as the weekend draws closer and there’ll be some fantastic food and drinks on offer to quench a thirst. Get in the spirit and celebrate World Gin Day with a fabulous gin cocktail in the newly christened Winning Post Enclosure, the perfect position to soak up the atmosphere and witness the runners and riders of the day.

Those looking for a family day out are encouraged to visit our Open Course. Bring a picnic blanket and put yourselves in prime position next to the turf up by the infamous Castle Bend. There’ll be inflatable fun for the youngsters in the ‘Bounce Zone’, free of charge and as always, Kids go free in any enclosure. Adult tickets start at just £12 on the Open Course.

Tickets are available in selected areas of the racecourse, visit chester-races.com to buy online (Tuesday 7 June, last day for posting tickets), or call the Box Office on 01244 304 610.
