The weekend is almost under starters orders here at Chester as the Grosvenor Shopping Centre Ladies Evening begins two consecutive fixtures of racing on the Roodee on Friday 30 June. Gates to the only evening fixture of the season will open to crowds of racegoers from 4.30pm, enabling an early dart from the desk and the opportunity to start the weekend early and in style!
Six races will thrill the crowds from 6.10pm and Title Sponsors Grosvenor Shopping Centre renew their sponsorship of this celebrated fixture and will be in attendance, hosting a best-dressed competition with some fabulous prizes on offer courtesy of boutique hotel, The Grosvenor Chester, including an overnight’s stay and meal for two. In addition, racegoers will be treated to complimentary goody-bags, provided throughout the evening and whilst stocks last.
Grosvenor Shopping Centre Manager Julie Webb said “We know how much effort Chester racegoers put into their outfits and our best-dressed competition ensures that styles are recognised and appreciated. Each year we’re really impressed with the outfits that we see and we are sure 2017 will be no exception.”
