Chester Racecourse are delighted to once again have been presented a Gold Standard Award, for Large Racecourses in 2016. It is the 9th consecutive year Chester have been recognised by the ROA in this category, achieving the first in 2008. Chester were the first racecourse to be awarded the prestigious Large Racecourse of the Year Award, when it launched in 2015 and hope to be in the running again this year.

Receiving the Gold Standard Award for nine consecutive years seems to suggest we’re getting it right.”
The Owners Experience at Chester Racecourse is also shortlisted for an award at The Racecourse Association Showcase Awards, to be held later this month. Up against Ascot, Fontwell Park, Nottingham and Sedgefield, Chester hope to take home the winning accolade on the evening of Thursday 17 November at Doncaster Racecourse.
