Boodles is a leading British fine jeweller whose reputation has been built on the company’s exceptional design and unprecedented customer relationships. Founded in 1798, the business has remained a family company and is now run by brothers Nicholas and Michael Wainwright, together with the next generation of the family, Jody Wainwright and James Amos.
The Boodles story began in Liverpool over two centuries ago and the heart of the company still lies in the North West of England with Boodles showrooms situated in Chester and Manchester, and a Head Office in Liverpool. Boodles has since expanded with shops now in London and Dublin.
The Boodles brand not only embodies exceptional jewellery design but also encompasses a luxurious and dynamic lifestyle, and the company has a long association with British sport. A firm fixture in the Boodles calendar, is the prestigious Chester Races, which Boodles is extremely proud to be sponsoring again this year. As a spectator sport, Horse Racing epitomises fun and elegance – just like Boodles.
Founded in 1771 and 1785, Gieves and Hawkes began as two separate businesses, serving the needs of Britain’s Royal Navy and the British Army. Both firms were soon sought after by the Royal family and aristocratic patrons, and so began a tradition of service to the British Sovereign that remains to this day. The ultimate destination for mens’ style, Gieves & Hawkes is among the world’s most famous tailors, headquarted at No.1 Savile Row.
Three Royal Warrants - First granted by George III in 1799, Gieves & Hawkes is the proud holder of all three British Royal Warrants, emblematic of the commitment to exceptional quality and service for which the brand is globally known. Warrants are constantly reviewed and can be taken away – Gieves & Hawkes has held a warrant from every Sovereign of the United Kingdom since 1799 in an unbroken and continual commitment to excellence.
Legendary Clients - Gieves & Hawkes has always been a destination for Royalty, Statesmen, politicians, sports stars and artists of all kinds. As well as ten generations of the British Royal family, Gieves & Hawkes has dressed a roll-call of Oscar winning actors including Sir Laurence Olivier, Alec Guinness, David Niven, Michael Caine, John Hurt, Kevin Spacey, Peter O’Toole and Benedict Cumberbatch.
