New in 2008, this sophisticated, modern 1st and 2nd floor glass-fronted restaurant offers à la carte dining to racegoers and a panoramic view of the entire Racecourse. To ensure the ambience of the restaurant is maintained, bookings of no more than 8 persons will be accepted. The upper level of Restaurant 1539 is, subject to availability, also available to hire as a private room accommodating parties of up to 40 people. An outdoor decking area provides alfresco viewing across the Roodee. The cost is inclusive of admission to the Racecourse but provision will be made for County Stand badge and Tattersalls ticket holders for on the day walk-ins.
Final Furlong Restaurant
The glamorous Final Furlong restaurant is, in addition to the Festival Chalets, also located in the tented village. Patrons of the Final Furlong enjoy a champagne reception and an all inclusive bar (with the exception of Sunday Funday). During racing guests are able to stroll to the rails of the race track to watch the thrilling action in the final minutes of the races.The Final Furlong restaurant offers you the opportunity of hiring your private table accommodating up to 10 guests per table.
Turf Restaurant
The Turf restaurant is situated on the ground floor of Chester Racecourse’s County Stand. Providing access to the County Stand Concourse and with your own table throughout the day, the Turf is perfectly suited for an intimate dining experience. To ensure the ambience of the restaurant is maintained, bookings of no more than 8 persons will be accepted. If your party is in excess of 8 persons, the Final Furlong restaurant will be better suited to your requirements.
Roodee Bar & Grill
Now in its 3rd season, the Roodee Bar & Grill has proven to be a popular choice and advance booking is highly recommended. The cost is inclusive of admission to the Racecourse and an a la carte menu. The Roodee, in the Paddock, is a short distance from both the Pre-parade Ring and Parade Ring.
'Mer' Seafood Bar
Alfresco tables in the champagne, fine wine and seafood bar can either be booked in advance by placing a £10.00 deposit or tables, subject to availability, will be available for County Stand badge and Tattersalls ticket holders to walk in on
