Enclosures

Each of Chester Racecourse's three grandstands has a distinctive character of its own. How will you choose to enjoy the racing? In the sophisticated County Stand, immersed in the party atmosphere of the Tattersalls Stand or just relaxing in the Dee Stand? Perhaps you'll prefer to bring a picnic and enjoy it on the Open Course.

Important Notices

  • Visitors to the Racecourse will only be able access the enclosure for which they hold a ticket at the designated entrances for that enclosure.
  • A reminder that visitors are not allowed to bring food & drink into the main racecourse enclosures (County Stand, Tattersalls & Paddock and Dee Stand). Although we are happy for racegoers to bring Picnics onto the Open Course, the racecourse stewards will not allow visitors to bring any food and drink into the Racecourse Enclosures.

The Tattersalls Stand is next to the County Stand and has a tiered, covered terrace in addition to ground floor standing room.  Tattersalls ticket holders also have access to betting facilities, bar and eateries such as the Olive Press.

County Stand badge holders and Tattersalls Stand ticket holders are able to cross under the track to access the Paddock enclosure.
