Food and drink

There will be a selection and food and drink outlets available within the general admission area which overlooks the Polo pitch.

However please feel free to pack a picnic and bring it along to be enjoyed pitchside as you enjoy the exciting game with a few friends. 

If you fancy something a little more substantial why not book a table for lunch in The White Horse our polo themed pub on the course. 

For visitors looking for an extra special Polo experience, Chester’s luxurious hospitality marquee offers VIP treatment fit for a Royal. Guests are invited to a brief introduction to the game of Polo followed by delicious lunch. After dining, take a seat on the picket fenced terrace, offering a front row seat to the action. Gates open at 11.30am for hospitality guests are asked to arrive at around midday. The first match takes place at 2.30pm and the second at 4pm. We advise spectators to pitch up early to guarantee a good spot. 

Car parking: Plenty of parking is available adjacent to the polo pitch, at no additional cost. For those with hospitality badges, a designated car park is available a short distance from the marquee.


How to get here

The Racecourse is situated in the heart of Chester and supported by an extensive road and rail network. The M53, M56, M6 and A483 are all in close proximity to Chester providing excellent links from Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales and the South of England. Chester train station is located a 15 minute walk away from the Racecourse through the picturesque Chester.

Ticket holders are advised to pay particular attention to the weather forecasts prior to arriving at the event to prepare for the weather on the day of their attendance.
