The Racecourse is situated in the heart of Chester supported by an extensive road and rail network.
By Road

The M53, M56, M6 and A483 are all in close proximity to Chester providing excellent links from Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales and the south of England. The Racecourse is signed from all the major routes into Chester on racedays.
Car Parking
Car parking is on the Open Course and only for cars with a car pass. Car passes can be purchased in advance from the ticket office or from pay lane booths on race days. On Sunday Funday (1st August) only, car parking will be operated on a first come first served basis.
A car pass costs £7, with the exceptions of 26th June (£9) and August 1st (£10).
By Rail
Please call 08457 484 950 for the Trainline or try www.thetrainline.com. The station is 20-30 minutes walk from the Racecourse through the picturesque Chester city centre.

Merseyrail
"For a hassle free journey, purchase a Merseyrail Day Saver ticket with your admission badges for just £4.60 giving you access to the Merseyrail network for the whole day of the raceday fixture. (Northern & Wirral lines only. Not valid on City line services)".
Merseyrail operates four trains an hour between Liverpool and Chester Monday to Saturday up until 18.30pm, then a half hourly service. Tickets can be purchased from any Merseyrail stations for details of travel on the Merseyrail network, please click here.
By Air
Call 01244 522 012/3 Hawarden airport, Deeside for Helicopter / light aircraft landing facilities. Helicopters are allowed to land on the racecourse by prior consent with the Racecourse only. No Helicopter is allowed to allowed to land on Sunday Funday.
